Tomorrow we will be adding in the gravel to our aquaponics barrels, setting up the last of the piping that will supply water from our siphon tank to the line of barrels, and hopefully, just hopefully, I’ll be able to plant my seedlings and plants that are waiting to go in.
The process so far has been really cool, and I’ve learned how to ready the tanks with the drainage piping, set up the barrels on top of a framework over the ill-fated jacuzzi we’ve re-purposed, and learned just how heavy gravel can be.
It can be heavy.
Next up, I’ll have photos of the aquaponics unit to this point and the plant arrangement we’ll have.
